Now don't get me wrong, I still love the salon and its purpose. But one thing I’ve noticed is that as the industry has shifted, community has quietly disappeared.
I grew up going to the hair salon. The culture. The conversations. The laughter. The learning that happened just by being around other professionals. The hair industry doesn’t feel the same anymore, and that’s not a bad thing, but it is different.
That’s why I created the JSN Support Group.
A new kind of community
This space was created to bring back what we’ve been missing, connection.
A place where we motivate each other.
A place where we have each other’s backs.
A place where we grow together.
The beauty industry is moving fast. Trends change. Platforms change. Technology changes. And instead of trying to keep up alone, I wanted to create a space where we help each other stay on top, together!

Why this matters to me
At the beginning of my career, I was figuring out everything on my own; pricing, marketing, and especially social media. I didn’t have a bestie in the industry to figure it out with.
I wish I had someone to ask, “Does this make sense?”
Or, “Am I pricing this right?”
Or, “What should I post today?”
That’s what I want this space to be. Not perfection. Not pressure. Just real people having real conversations and growing together.
